Shams Sitar, LMT

Shams graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2023. While studying at East West College Shams completed electives in spa therapies and structural bodywork. In 2026, Shams completed an eight month program in Thai manual therapies at the Naga Center in Gresham, Oregon. Shams also attended Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland where they received a Bachelors or Science degree in Psychology.

Shams is originally from Washington, DC and moved to Portland, OR in 2021 to attend massage school. Shams has a variety of work experience from education to caregiving.

Shams has an intuitive massage flow. Her work is grounded in helping clients create deep, grounded awareness of their bodies. Shams co-creates with clients to help them feel connected and well. Shams believes in meeting each client where they are and tailoring sessions to support their individual therapeutic massage needs.

In their spare time, Shams likes to play with her three cats. She also likes reading, yoga, long-distance walking, and adding to her long list of hobbies whenever she can.
